The Birchwood Inn and Tavern

Delightfully set overlooking the bucolic village of Temple, our mission is to create a warm, welcoming and clean environment in which to offer our customers a casual, leisurely and delicious dining and lodging experience. We have two dining rooms and a newly restored tavern, so can accommodate a more quiet and elegant setting, or join us in the tavern for lively conversation and occasional live music! Our restoration, which took place in January and February of 2020, allowed us to showcase the original post and beam construction, and our bar top and high top tables are made of a cherry tree that fell in the Ice Storm of 2008 in neighboring Sharon NH.
